I feel it is important to make this visual statement -- ‘The Way We Are’ -- now in 2008 because in time the fitting words are more likely to be ‘The Way We Were’ – the backdrop of Pt Melbourne will change – gone will be the ‘Turneresque’ hazy glow of industrial emissions - pretty though it might look – we are now fully aware of the fact that it has to change before it kills us. However, some things will never change - like the wild storms that envelope the bay and the larrikins who will challenge the dare to jump off the beacon on hot summer days……
