Doodledum Dancing has won an Honour Book award in the Early Childhood category of the 2007 Children’s Book Council of Australia awards.

Meredith will be taking up a four week May Gibbs Creative Time Residential Fellowship at the Norwood studio in Adelaide. During this time she will present writing workshops at Seymour College.

2007 Australian Awards for Excellence in Publishing

Comet, Explore and Challenge magazines have been shortlisted in the Primary Literacy Series section of the 2007 Australian Awards for Excellence in Publishing, coordinated by the Australian Publishers' Association. Meredith is the literary editor for the magazines, and editor of Comet.


 Intervention Works

Literacy series Intervention Works has been short listed for the 2007 Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers in the USA. Meredith has four titles in the series:

   Simple Machines
   Marvelous Mexico
   Carson Street Hockey
